Fruit of a hard working couple.

This is the house of a Swiss couple where we were invited for a coffee today. We are grateful for a lovely and relaxed afternoon with them at their stunning home. They had bought a piece of land just covered by bush close to Tairua about 35 years ago and converted it to this amazingly beautiful property with their own hands. Originally hard-working farmers, they have retired now and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle.
By the way, it is on the market now, as the two want to move to a region with better infrastructure as they are "not getting younger" now.

The whole family together again. That's to be celebrated! At Sola Café, Thames.

The Sola Café is one of the really special places in Thames. Today we went there to celebrate that we had some days together with Clara, who joined us from her new home in Auckland City. We felt so "whole" again!

Impressions from our garden

Guavas

A great source of relaxation for us is our garden. Yesterday I have spent some time with looking at it through the "eyes" of my camera. Come, take a moment, marvel and enjoy with me (to be honest, I do not spend much time caring for it - this is done mostly by my marvelous wife Elena, and the animals are looked after in part by our kids).
